From Tompuan dialect, English local guide jungle trekks in Banlong Ratanakiri Virachy national park, for our community, your guide to exploring the beautiful jungles of Banlung,  we can help you to make your dream Cambodia holiday come true.

 

Welcome to Jungle Trails Ratanakiri, was established in 2016 within Veonsai and Taveng area at Kachone commune by the local community with support from local authority and the chief of the commune. Unlike the other community, JTR, has a good version to develop their own area by setting up a mechanism to manage the proceeds from this tourism:

• Community leader was elected by the locals in the community

• Expert tracker guide were chosen from each family and take a turn for guiding

• Accommodation, transportation, food and utilized stuffs are provided from the local take a turn

• Community development entrance fees are witnessed by the local and involved authorities

About 60% of the tourism income goes directly to the local community while the 40% is for the Eco-tourism agency, English translator and the spices.

• Improve local education and livelihood

• Empower community to develop tourism and benefit community

• Divert as a model, on which other community can learn and follow

JTR, area is wonderful unique due to its pristine and primary forest that offers tourists the rare Opportunity to experience dense jungle, open savanna, evergreen and deciduous forest, valleys, mountain spectacular view, rocky mountain, waterfalls, rivers and visit the villages of Tampaun and Kreung  indigenous villages. The area is home to many different species and wildlife such as  giant gaur (wild buffalo), monkeys, gibbons, wild cats, fishing cats, civets, and the other rare birds including vultures, peacocks, great ibis, giant horn-bill, etc.
